Today, you’ll have much more fun just running along and living your life than you will analyzing every little word out of every person’s mouth. It’s not the right time to get all serious about your life. There are good things going on right now, and bad things going on right now. Why don’t you just focus on the good things for the next 24 hours and give your worry muscle a rest? There’s not much you can do about what isn’t working anyway. The ball is in someone else’s court.

Stop obsessing about an old love or that perfect date you had. It may take a while, but try to examine the root causes of this compulsion. Once you do, the energy and space you open up will create room for real love.

Be extravagant. Pull out all the stops for your partner for no particular reason. You’ll feel the tension in your life melt away with a little judiciously applied indulgence.

Don’t stop now. You have your dotage to appreciate the smaller things in life. For today, keep trying to grow your retirement account, not wish you could kick back and spend it.
