If someone you’re being forced to collaborate with is being as willful as a child, you need to be as strict as a schoolmarm. It might not be too much fun to parent a grown adult, but doing so is much more desirable than the alternative – dealing with the mess they make. Some people need discipline in order to focus, and you need to be prepared to dole some out. This is good training for a leadership position anyway, so get comfortable having an iron fist!

Don’t go on a date until after you’ve done a crossword or read another chapter. It could be the basis of a long discussion! You break the ice before you even set out.

Something small is going to remind you of why you got together in the first place. Your connection is stronger than ever, thanks to all the ideas and values you share. Speak up about it!
