Then choose the one that is the most intimidating to you. You may be looking at this opportunity and subliminally seeing nothing but pressure, and this is what could be preventing you from accepting a new challenge. You’re afraid you’ll fail. But you can only fail if you don’t try.

The bar scene is not the best place to meet quality people. Instead, take a walk. Choose a well-populated route and hoof it at the same time every day for the next month, preferably after work. You’ll inevitably run into (and ultimately meet) all kinds of interesting prospects.

It’s a good time to hold off on making purchases, especially if you’re both sharing the expense. A better deal may come along a little later, or unexpected expenses could soon pop up.
