There is some mean game playing going on here, and the only way you can get out of it is to say no. Even if you really want to go, it’s just not worth it if you have to feel in debt to them the entire time. When a friend starts making you feel bad about yourself, it’s time to rethink whether or not they should be your friend.

Get comfortable with saying no. Sure, you’ve been chatting with this person online, but you’re not getting those warm vibes, and you’d rather not meet them after all. It’s okay to be honest. A few conversations doesn’t make you beholden to anyone.

It pays to be observant today. Your partner may have something on their mind, but they’re not ready to say anything yet. If you pay attention, you’ll be able to read the clues they’re giving you.

You don’t need to be told to be careful, but today you have to make a special effort to go over all the details someone else supplies you. They have a radically different agenda than the one they are presenting to you, and it could cost you.
