When you enter a new situation today, watch for people who aren’t interested in making you feel at home. They could see you as the competition (even if you aren’t) and give you less than a naturally warm welcome. They’re going through the motions just enough to seem polite, but not enough to feel genuine. Don’t take this treatment personally. And do not bend over backwards to ingratiate yourself to this person. There is no sense in wasting energy trying to charm someone like this.

Clinging to old emotional baggage is holding you back emotionally. Never fear. Out with the old, in with the new! You should easily find the inspiration to shake off this dead weight.

Game playing gets a bad rap, but the fact is when you two are playing games, you’re more alert, excited, and involved in the events at hand. Just play fair and make sure the rules are explicitly stated.
