Tiptoe around anyone who seems to be in a grumpier mood than normal. That doesn’t mean you have to silence everything and everyone, of course, but an extra dash of sensitivity should definitely make your day (and theirs) go a whole lot more smoothly. Don’t think that they haven’t noticed either. They’re sure to return the favor and then some if you’re ever in a similar situation.

If someone rubs you the wrong way today, take a good look at yourself. It’s triggering something in you. Do a little soul-searching and come up with an answer. Besides, you’ll foster a little more understanding and patience for others.

Do you really have reason to be jealous, or are you perhaps taking a situation a bit too seriously? Whatever the case, a nonconfrontational conversation is far better than an accusation.

You can only get so deep when thinking about your financial predicament. That’s okay, because waxing philosophical won’t help you figure out how you got in the state you’re in, nor will it get you out of it. Give yourself permission to be shallow.
