This includes generous gestures, so don’t even offer to buy someone a coffee. And let others know, kindly, that you can pay for your own takeout. There is a high likelihood that someone could end up feeling taken advantage of.

Cast aside your self-doubts! Better yet, recast them as positive statements. Rather than beating yourself up and telling yourself you make awful choices, tell yourself that you remain open to all possibilities.
