If you want to be alone right now, be alone. You can’t be peer-pressured into being social. So tell your friends to go on and have their fun without you. You’ll be fine. Right now, your friends hold a bit more influence over your life than they should, and it’s probably a good thing to be without their influence for a while. You need to sit with yourself and look at the big picture. Figure out what it is that you want, not what they want.

You don’t have to know all the facts beforehand. While research has its benefits, there’s something to be said for winging it. Making up the rules as you go along could open up doors that were once locked.

Don’t be discouraged by what seems like slow progress in your relationship. It may be hard to notice small improvements, but they will add up to big changes.

You need to challenge yourself because the day won’t do it for you. Finish all that you could do blindfolded and then set yourself to climbing your next financial mountain; it shouldn’t be hard to find.
