If someone is telling you that you need to add more discipline and structure into your life, they’re probably projecting their own needs on to you, so take what they say with a grain of salt. Even if they are in a position of authority over you, they have no right to tell you how to live your life. Perhaps you could suggest to them that they need to spend more energy on what they’re doing and little less on what you’re doing. You are doing just fine.

Don’t let a small disagreement turn into a major fight. Listen to what your partner has to say, then tell them what you’re feeling. It might be better to give in and keep the peace.

Eating lunch at home was never as charming as it is today. You are winning people over with your hospitality and it’s more valuable than treating them to an expensive meal. Come up with an original menu — the crazier the better.
