Try to spend some time interacting with the people who don’t always agree with everything you say. Whether they hail from different backgrounds, cultures, or religions than yours, they see the world from a different perspective, and it can be very interesting to hear what they have to say about recent events. At the very least, it will be a good learning experience. When you only hang out with like-minded people, you miss out on opportunities.

As you absorb the news today, the plight of some group stirs your empathy. It could be time to step out of your own orbit and get involved in something much bigger. You can meet some really interesting people that way.

You’ll be up in the morning, but winding down somewhat after dark. It’s a great time to just relax with your partner and do something small and quiet rather than making a big production.

This may not be the high point of your career, but if your profits are not shrinking, then at least you’re not approaching your nadir, either. Don’t stress. Even if you hit rock bottom, you have nowhere to go but up.
