Don’t get involved with stuff you’re unsure of right now, even (or especially!) if you think it will get you approval from others. Why try so hard to be validated by people who don’t get how great you are? Just by being yourself you offer more than enough to any crowd. If they can’t see it, then you don’t need them. Stick to who you are and do what you want to do. Don’t be wishy-washy about it. Be proud of who you are and the way you are. You aren’t a mindless lemming!
