Someone you admire and care a lot about could be under some heavy scrutiny, and they could use some encouraging words to keep them feeling positive. Get out there and give them a hand! Be their cheerleader and send them messages throughout the day letting them know you’re thinking of them. It stinks that they’re going through this, but resist getting involved more deeply than is appropriate. Use your energy to take care of them.

Quick! Think of your most well-connected friend, the one whose phone has a thousand numbers. Give them a call, and ask who in their vast collection is lucky enough to deserve an introduction to you. They may tease you, but they’ll also be happy to do it.

It seems counterintuitive, but providing each other space during moments like this is more conducive to intimacy than spending most of your time together. Give each other more leash and watch your relationship grow.

People don’t have to think exactly the same way you do to be working toward your goal. Having different perspectives is what fleshes out the team. As long as you end up in the right place, the angle you get there doesn’t really matter.
