If anything, you’re usually more reasonable toward others than yourself, even if a cast of thousands tells you it’s not the wisest course of action. So if someone tells you now that you’re not being fair, consider the source and the motivations of said source. If the only reasons you can come up are their strictly selfish motives (and that wouldn’t be surprising), do what your conscience tells you to do. No regrets.

You can be a little gullible sometimes, but not right now, and especially not in the realm of romance. Engage the brain as well as your optimistic heart, and keep your hopes within the realm of the realistic.
