Show up a couple minutes early, ask for five minutes, and have a nice heart-to-heart chat. Bet you’ll end up even better off, professionally and personally speaking, than you were before.

Take time to really dive into the details now. Someone seems perfect, but they may have a deeply held belief that you just can’t abide, or they may share your weirdest trait. Ask lots of questions!
