If you are trying to start any kind of new relationship today, whether business, friendship, romantic, or otherwise, you need to make sure you’re not putting too much pressure on yourself. Tension is contagious, so the more nervous you are, the more nervous the other person will be too, and that is hardly conducive for a joint project.
