Follow the recent advice a friend or family member gave you and polish up your diplomacy skills. The spotlight will be shining brightly on you at some point during this day, and you must be prepared to act the part of the charming leader. You will get a lot further with other people if you remember that you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. If you can keep smiling (especially when you don’t necessarily feel like it), then you will hit a home run.

You can learn a lot about someone just through observation. Does this person fidget and tap their fingers a lot when you’re speaking? Do they tense up when certain topics are brought up? Pay attention to the little things.

Sometimes you take the lead in the relationship; other times you play a supporting role. There’s nothing wrong with either of those positions if you’re comfortable with the patterns that are occurring.

You imagine you’re fighting an invisible force. It may feel like you’re up against an opponent stronger than you, but that’s just your own attitude. Be brave, try to relax and dig in. You’ll realize nothing in life is working against you.
