You’re not mean-spirited, not one tiny little bit. You can, however, be goaded at times into behavior that’s beneath you. That only happens if someone shows anything less than total respect for a worthy cause or someone you love. If you’ve already warned them about this, or if you know they’ve heard about your recent dealings with someone impolite, you won’t hesitate to react. And well you should.

It’s time for an attitude change. It’s not that a relationship will make your situation complete. Rather, it’s that you have so much to offer that it would be a shame to deprive someone of the opportunity to share your life.

Celebrate your community. It’s part of your relationship, too. Your group helps you feel grounded and supported, whether your community is friends, family, or a bit of both.

You don’t need to do things that are gravely important to make yourself feel enriched. You are following your true calling simply by showing up for life today. Block out all problems, from money to work relationships, if that’s what it takes to let yourself be truly present.
