Someone who knows you well will realize that although this is very rare behavior for you, it’s great fun to watch. Either way, any potential embarrassment is a risk you’re willing to take.

If you’ve got plans, they’re liable to fall by the wayside in favor of something more enjoyable. A long chat with a friend or romantic prospect is much more important anyway.
