Relationships are complicated, and you wouldn’t want them any other way. When someone new comes along who’s very different from your usual “type,” you might spend more time than you ought to worrying about those differences instead of focusing on all the wonderful common ground you share. Don’t let that happen now! Someone could appear today who could definitely end up in your life for a long time, so focus on the positive.

Set aside romantic pursuits for now and just focus on others as people. Listen to them and try to really understand what they’re trying to tell you. You could hear something that really resonates with your own situation.

Tough love is all well and good, but every now and then you just want to be petted, cooed over, and caressed. If your partner doesn’t pick up on that, go ahead and tell them explicitly what you need.
